LAURA BROWS MARDA; she’s a collection, curation + vision of past, present + future.
When LF re-imagined her brand in ’21 we were pumped to be asked to freshen up the LB PARKDALE location with a few cheap-but-MEGA-cheerful edits to make it feel more aligned. + then in ’23 when Laura was ready to write their next chapter in their new MARDA location + asked us to come in for a full scope design vision, it was a HECK YES.
We utilized as many of the beautiful investment pieces from the PARKDALE reno + layered them into the new location [which, ICYMI had a past life as Sam Corea’s swanky real-estate office, created by his talented wife, Jacqueline Corea] a great foundation of existing details were used as a jump off point; think black metal-framed glass doors, classic black + brass light fixtures + solid millwork in warm neutral stains

We peeled back drywall to expose concrete columns, swapped ceiling tiles for a pop of bold PINK in the studio space + layered in some new lights, eclectic art, on-brand hues + a smidge of pattern to elevate this new home. We couldn’t help but bring over some of the acrylic we all obsessed over from the PARKDALE windows, this time in the form of back-lit mirror frames + art shelves.
Bold, bright, fun + inclusive - everything we know + LOVE Laura + her team for, can be felt in under this HOT pink roof.
