INTERIOR FINISH SELECTIONS, STYLING + PROFILING
For these clients - dear friends first - creating a space that felt like the two of them for their first home, TOGETHER, was a mega honour + the biggest source of inspiration was truly THEM. Picture this; a rad couple who has guilty pleasure combo’s like veuve + McD’s fries x an old fashioned + Wendy’s cheeseburger. I knew we had to bring that classic + laidback-cool juxtaposition to their design story.
We blended tailored, traditional elements with a modern edge; pearl-finished wall panelling, white vintage brick, creams + whites in the form of textured upholstery + rug finishes, menswear-inspired textiles + rich leathers. The devil is in the [luxurious] details layered in by way of alabaster light fixtures + blackened metal finishes for contrast.
Polished sophistication with a little quirky edge - a true reflection of these beautiful humans + their sweet long haired mini dahschund, who pairs with the aesthetic perfectly.
Designing with friends means leaning into a foundation of trust + alignment, always allowing us to go deeper, creating a space that doesn’t just look a certain way but FEELS truly theirs.
